a GREAT halloween!

My Daddy flew in from Texas to spend Halloween with his grandbabies! The kiddos were in hog heaven! And so was Grampa. We all had a great time and are so thankful to still have him around! He's doing so much better! Amazing what being on the proper medication and using a CPAP can do for you!

As you can see, we carved pumpkins last night...the kiddos had a blast! Madi even got up this morning and looked through the front window, just to say good morning to her pumpkin....these memories will last a lifetime!! hopefully ;)

Happy Birthday to ME!!

So I turned 27 on Sept 19th! And on the 18th, the best friends a girl could have took me out for my birthday! I had so much fun....here are the highlights of the evening!

The waiters asked Amy if I would drink a free drink if they brought it to me...she said sure! So they brought out a Jager Bomb...which might I add is my allll time favorite drink! And they proceeded with the ceremonious "CHUG CHUG CHUG" chant. In a restaurant! HAHA! lovely. The older couple sitting across from us just looooooved that! HAHAHAH!

poor poor Stacey...she was stuck next to Chris half the night.....poor poor Stacey...she was also our DD and completely sober the entire evening...HAHAH!

These are the "roses" the bartenders and waitstaff guy made me. They called me baby girl and gave me 6 free drinks! I think the animal print shirt worked. HAHAHA!

p.s. check out my new tattoo! It's a nautical star. My best friend Ben and I have one and soon to come Nathan will have one. A nautical star means "you'll always find your way home."

It's been a while....

Over a month to be exact. Let's just say I've been busy. The kiddos started school and its been all downhill since then! HAHAH! I turned 27 on Sept 19th! That was pretty awesome! I have the best friends a girl could ask for. They all chipped in and got me a $100 giftcard to Curl Talk. So I can get my hair did. LOL! I should do that pretty soon

The other babies...aka...the dogs, are getting HUGE! Well, Kiki is done growing, but Trixie is 9 months old now, and she's tipping the scales at about 110! She's so stinkin HUGE! and very very very sweeeeet! So here are a few pics!

This is usually how are mornings are spent...Jaxon plays hide and seek with Kiki and Trixie....lol...it's pretty darn cute!

We're going to have to get an eye surgery for Trixie...she has what's called entropion. It's where the eyelid folds into the eye. She doesn't show any discomfort from it. Only gross discharge and we have to keep her eye flushed out a lot. But she has no pain! or at least shows none at all! So we're holding off on the surgery for a bit. It's going to cost us about $700....so we have to save for a bit. I'm also holding off in hopes that once head grows into her skin, that it may change things a bit.

On a sad note, we had to get rid of Oliver...our cross-eyed kitty. He wouldn't stop peeing on anything and everything we own...mainly beds...I took him to the vet and had him all checked out, he was totally fine...so we let another family adopt him. Hope they have better luck. That made for a very sad homecoming from Texas.

CABO!!

It was absolutely amazing and I'm absolutely positive that we will be returning!! The Riu Palace was amazing and just plain gorgeous! Everyone was super nice and the place was clean!! The beds were even comfy! The only complaint I had, was no water pressure in the room....but oh well....It just took a bit longer for me to shower...I have a lot of surface area to cover...HAHAHAHA! Thanks for and AMAZING time Cory and Christina! Til' next year!

7 DAYS!

Well, we have one week til' Cabo!! This time next week, I will be on the way to the airport with my lovely husband!! I can't wait!! We haven't been on a loooong vacation since our honeymoon 5 long years ago!!

Then of course we have play-doh pictures! Matt and Tania got the kiddos this play-doh set, and I was none too happy. I have avoided play-doh like the plague...but ya know what? It wasn't that bad!!! They were pretty careful with the stuff, and picked it up when they dropped it! The table looked like a speckled war zone, but hey, once that dries, you just sweep it off onto the floor and vacuum it up! Here are some cute pics!
