Happy Easter

So it's a bit late...geez...gimme a break...LOL! Original plans were to go to Six Flags...that kinda fell through when Madi projectile vomited across Chance Easter morning...lol...so we stayed home and got to feeling better. Luckily after a few naps, Madi was alright and we were able to do an Easter Egg Hunt!!! No fancy outfits....just us having fun!

This pic is from my stay at home mom's group Easter egg hunt/potluck! Peejay dressed up as the Easter bunny for all the kiddos! God Bless her! Jaxon would not come within 30 feet of the Easter bunny and this is all I got out of Madi...one day...they will love her!

These are the pics from the house! The Easter bunny popped by while the kiddos were down for nap, and this is what he left!!!!

He also dropped a whole bunch of eggs out by the pool, that way the puppies couldn't get to them!

So when you cut your material correctly, you can always have great remnants, and sometimes...when you're super lucky....you can have enough to make something GREAT! I did! LOL! I had some material left over from Emily's little dress, and this is what I got out of it!

Can you believe it???? One of my creations that Madi actually wants to wear! YAY!

Wednesday....

Usually Wednesday's are so boring...it's hump day..and not in that fun way either ;) !! HA! I crack myself up....anywho- I kept myself very busy yesterday! So here are my pics from the day! Ya know...people probably think I walk around with my camera attached to my face....and the truth is.... I DO!!!

First up, Chance went to petsmart to get the puppies their food! And he walked in the door with this funny grin on his face. Apparently petsmart has all their dog toys on sale for 50% off or more! So Chance picked the pups up some stuff....But he was especially proud of this one...LMAO That bone is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!

Trixie and KiKi loooooove it! They are still gnawing on it this morning....lol

Then I have my flowers...oh wow...my flowers....I love the guy at the Farmer's Market that sales these things! His flowers are amazing! He also sells tha bomb kiwis! They are as big as your fist! If you live here, you should definitely go and check him out! I bought these flowers on Saturday morning, and they actually sat in my car ALL DAY on Saturday....then I brought them home and threw them in water with the little food pack...and this pick is from late last night! AMAZING! They will last for another 4-5 days also.....wow!

The flowers are hard to follow....but I have more really cute randomness! I made this dress for Amy's little girl, Emma. It's so damn cute...if I hadn't of totally screwed up the first time around, that's what I get for trying to do something from memory, then Madi and Emma would have matching dresses....dammit.

I had to make sure that it would fit emma right? LMAO!

And finally....at 8:00 last night...I made my Mexican pinwheels. Our potluck got moved up to Thursday, thanks to the storms that are passing through Cali right now....so here's the recipe and some pics!

• 2 pkgs. cream cheese
• pickled sliced jalapenos (to taste)
• 1 large pkg ham lunch meat (I use oscar mayer, smoked ham)
• small amount of jalapeno juice
• 1-2 bunches of green onions (chopped)
• 1 package flour tortillas
• garlic powder (to taste)
• salt and pepper (to taste)

Soften cream cheese, slice onions, chop ham into small pieces, chop jalapenos into small pieces, add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix all together. Add some jalapeno juice and mix some more! Spread onto tortillas and roll'em up! Let these sit in the fridge overnight! Take out and slice the next morning!

If you're worried about the spiciness of it all, then you can buy mild jalapenos. Here are the pics of the messy process....I tripled the recipe!

I'm dieting right now...so all the cream cheese is fat free! and it tastes exactly the same!

This is the ooooey goooey mixture...that's oh sooooo good!

I used four packs of the burrito size mission tortillas. I will cut them up in a few!

All cut up and ready to serve!! I even made Kylie her own little container full....she's going to be so happy!

Tuesday!

I met some close friends up at Magic Mountain on Tuesday! It was so much fun! All the kiddos were pretty much angels...it was insane...I don't think we've ever had that great of a day in public...LOL! The twins are finally figuring out sharing and taking turns. That makes a day at six flags so much easier! Here are a few pics!

Surprise Jillian!!!

I've been sitting on this for about a week now. I made my first diaper bag and it was for my friend Jillian. She's having baby number two (Emma) at the end of April, and Shannon threw her a surprise baby shower today! So I can finally put up the pics of the bag. It turned out really great for the first one EVER! LOL Thank goodness I dragged Amy to JoAnn's with me that night...lol...otherwise, the good Lord only knows what kinda fabric I would have picked out! LOLOL! So here it is!

Farmer's Market Flowers! oh wow...........the pics say it all! and don't think I spent an arm and a leg for those....nope nope....I paid $6 for the entire bundle....the dude grows them himself!

Garage Sale Finds! Yep...I got all that glorious fabric at a garage sale....I was the happiest fat girl in the world this morning...other than having to deal with the crotchety bitch that was doing the sale....ugh......Thank God I called and warned Christina....LMAO

We swam today! YAYA! No pics from that...I was in a bathing suit...and I only "bless" my very very close friends and family with that sight!!! HAHAHAHA....sorry...hehe.

And lastly...I organized my sewing space! I even folded them all pretty and ironed out some of the pieces! It looks great, and now I realize what all I have and what I need and want to sew! So hopefully there will be more crafty creations coming outta here...lol...hopefully.

You wanna know how you know you're addicted....whenever you just keep buying fabric and you don't want to cut it...lol...that's how you know.....oh and ribbon too...I have a thing for ribbon...it's rather embarrassing...I don't make bows...I have Stacey for that...lol...and that's a king size bed....that's just ridiculous...but it's all ooooh soooo pretty! hey...at least I have a past time right? HAHAHAHAH!

Happy April Fool's Day!!!

and Happy Birthday to my nephew Ryan! He's 17 today....holy hell....that's crazy! I remember the first time I got to hold him...I was soooooo excited! He was teeny tiny and very quiet....Now he's like 6'3 and is mouthy...LOL! awwwwwwwwww....Happy Birthday kiddo!

I weighed myself this morning and almost passed out! No really....I almost did. I looked down expecting to see the same 252.....like I have for a few days now....and BOOM! I have reached a goal!!! YAYAYAY!!! I've lost 30 lbs! WOW! I'm at 250!!! I really hope I can keep this momentum going....I better...I've come too far to just stop now....and plus Cabo is a pretty damn big deal to me....sooooooooooooooo......wish me luck! LOL! Now, if Chance would let me....and I know he's not going to....but my reward for losing 30 lbs, was a new tattoo....truth be told, I don't need it...but I WANT it! LOL! Sucks being broke! LOL! I'll just have to move the tattoo goal to 50 lbs. I can go buy a new pair of capri's for the 30 lb. goal! YAY!
